This is our 1969 camper...did you know that there are people who re-do these things...just like old cars ???   I did not...but I'm learning...the new toilet is on order and we need to test the water system before my husbands treks it to New Mexico...at the end of next month.....We are hoping to put our house on the market but with the size and the age of it selling is going to be a test of endurance.  I would like to rent it and then I could join him in New Mexico by September.  The weather is so good there I should be able to quilt outside in a little screen house...Also we could travel and see some more of the Southwest. We are headed into the Silver City area....I really like it there.haven't spent any summer time there tho...we shall see...can always come North again to visit...

I'd like you to meet Ron-du-Lore...Laurie for short...she is the Adirondack dragon and she was conjured up in a dream by the wizard Dra...she is a lover of quilts, rainbows and small people. The story of her hatching can be read in the last book of a series I wrote for children back in 1992.  These Laurie's are made of muslin and hand painted by me...I have also sold them 'plain' for you to paint yourself...For some years Laurie has been in storage BUT with the passing of my father and the aging of my grandchildren I have decided to bring her back to life...Please let me know what you think...I recently met-up again with the lady who did a lot of sewing for me at the time and she is willing to make them again for me to paint....I still have a few of the original books but will need to find a new way to print them.....I used the top dragon as a display piece and she is 14"h and 21"l......the smaller dragons were the type we sold and they are 7"h and 10"l ....they originally sold for $21.00

Here she is in the medium size..14"long and 9"high...I had forgotten we made this size....NOW it's time to get her color on......that's done.... so off to the craft store to get some new paints and brushes to add her glitter ...she tells me she knows things have changed while she slept in the shadow of Giant mountain somewhere near St. Hubert's and she always liked to be 'in fashion'....such a funny girl......hope to see you soon on ETSY.....Tam and Laurie....

I'm sharing in hopes of getting some feed back so please don't copy my dragon or keep her as your own.....the wizard Dra will be very unhappy and you might find yourself in an enchanted kingdom...

Just picked this up from KC Custom Framing and Quilting....don't you love the design.....these flower spool blocks are from a Cyberbees swap back in 2000.....Oh my do you know I just said back in 2000 and that makes these blocks 12 years old already...To add to this story my (step) grandson is getting married tomorrow night at 5:00....they had the license and were going to elope BUT then they told his mother...my D-I-L...YOU know what happened next...At some point I will make them a quilt of their choice but for now they get this pretty floral walk in the garden....

I lost my 88 year old Dad on the 15th of March and the wedding is a nice diversion...it is good to see life going on.....Tam

Here is my center block for the Cyberbees 2012 RR.  The fabric with the pots will be the backing.  My center is 14" x 16". Yours can be larger or smaller, although 12" is usually what I've seen as the start size.  For of those of you who prefer to embroider, that is a possibility, as applique or pieced blocks look nice with embroidery also.  If you stroll through this blog you will see the 'lost'  RR. center that Tisha began in redwork.  Hope at least 4 or 5 cyberbees will join in. Please let me know on the list. Thanks for considering this , Tam.

Finally I finished !!!!!    Super Quilter design by Amy Bradley...started this last year at KC Framing and Quilting in Saratoga Springs.....decided to use it as a topper over a curtain made from an old dinning tablecloth...as a funky addition I added my collection of sewing /adventure pins...thought it was a better place to keep them than on my straw hat...Amy will be in Saratoga again this year and I hope I will be able to attend at least one day...it was her pattern I used for the nutcracker wall panel....just love her funky ladies...

Today
Another day
Let's runaway
to the mountains or the plains
Walk in the sun
learn to run
toward the end
around the bend
